CVAA Chapter Meeting and Ultrasound Guided PIV Workshop.
March 20th, 2024
This workshop sponsored by NIPRO Medical and held at the Prime Medical learning facility offered attendee a chance to learn about USGPIV insertions.
Members were given all the knowledge needed to perform the skill properly and safely. We provided Hands-On workstations to practice. We had a TOONIE 50/50 DRAW ($22 winner) and the opportunity to ACTUALLY POKE and insert a USGPIV into one of your CVAA Manitoba Executive. That Executive must be CRAZY??? (Or they are really devoted to education and learning?)
Event included FREE Dinner and USGPIV training.

Real Escape Canada and Olympia Diner
This Angiodynamic Sponsored Event was another great success with 15 people in attendance.
Olympia Diner food was excellent and we had a few meals that went home as Door Prizes.
Congratulations to Michaela who won the second Grand Door Prize of a FREE 3-Day Registration to the CVAA National Conference in April.

This BD Sponsored Event was a great success with 20 CVAA Manitoba Chapter Members in attendance.
Thank you to Kristie for her presentation on ChoraPrep and site management. 4 different door prizes were given away and we had our first CVAA National 3-Day Conference Registration winner-Kim.
